It took 31 hours in total to get from Tel Aviv back to Detroit. I flew Tel Aviv - London -Dallas - Detroit. Flying a total of 7,957 miles!
I headed to Ben Gurion international airport in Tel Aviv at around 2pm local time on Tuesday. I took El Al flight 317 to London, which landed about 20mins late.

This was by far the longest I had ever waited in a customs line at heathrow. It took almost 2 and a half hours to clear!
I stayed at the airport hotel in terminal 4, the Premier Inn, which I found to be very nice.
What's a trip to London without riding the tube?
AA's 777-300 business class. The LHR-DFW flight was by far the best out of the trip due to the fact that El Al's cabin is extremely outdated, but they get 16 787's later this year, so those should be nice. It was a great trip home and I can't wait to be back in the air soon!
